Bio: The Bayside Triathlon Club is a community based club that is available to males & females of all ages and fitness levels. The Club provides swim, ride, run and multisport training sessions around the greater Bayside area. Currently have a membership base of almost 200 members. Bayside club with a history dating back 20+ years, and has always been extremely community focused with strong representation at international, interstate as well as the various metropolitan sprint-distance races held throughout the summer.

In 2012 the Bayside and Taylormade Triathlon Clubs merged to form to provide a club better able to assist athletes achieve their triathlon, running, cycling or swimming goals. The club utilises the new Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre (GESAC) in Bentleigh, with training catering for all levels, from the amateurs to professionals.

Bayside Triathlon Club also hosts Duathlon competitions part of the Tri Vic duathlon series.
Monday evening 6:30-7:30pm,
Tuesday & Friday mornings 6:00-7:15am (GESAC, 200 East Boundary Rd, Bentleigh East Mel 68 K12) Coached sessions that focus on speed, endurance and technique. Suitable for triathletes and swimmers of all abilities with access to 2-3 lanes in a heated 50m pool.
Weds 5:55am Road Ride (Cheltenham Station, Cnr Charmen & Station Rd, Cheltenham Mel 86 J2)
Group ride that averages ~30km/hr. Heads south to Carrum via Nepean Hwy and returns via Station St. Experienced riders can continue from Carrum to Frankston South with hills.

Thurs 6:10am Spin Class (GESAC, 200 East Boundary Rd, Bentleigh East Mel 68 K12)
High intensity interval class on top of the range spin bikes with power, HR & cadence that will improve cardiovascular fitness, technique, pacing and strength-endurance (45 min class).
Tues 6:30-7:30pm (Sandy Aths Club, Glamis Ave, Hampton Mel 76 K6)

Thurs 7:00-8:00pm(Duncan MacKinnon, North Rd, Bentleigh East Mel 68 K9, meet in the car park near the netball courts corner of North & Murrumbeena Rd)

Structured sessions that use time and distance for aerobic, interval and fartlek sessions incorporated to improve speed, technique and pacing. Suitable for athletes of all abilities.
Saturday & Sunday Sessions (Variety of Locations & Sessions)

Brick/Multisport Sessions: Race specific sessions aimed at both long and short course athletes and suitable for all are able to complete a sprint distance triathlon to the serious Ironman distance athlete.

Weekend Rides: Variety of courses and distances. Specific beginner rides of ~ 60 mins & will include bike skills pre-road ride, plus experienced ride for 2+ hrs in duration and ave 30km/hr+. Also rides suitable for all levels with a variety of options.

Weekend Runs: A more endurance focussed run that may include tempo efforts, hills or easy aerobic. Suitable for anyone capable of running 30+ minutes continues.

Thursday Run or Brick Sessions (Swim/Run etc)
6:30pm Thursday (Nov to March) - Bayside Clubrooms
A club run training session targeting prospective triathletes who are joining the sport or want to maintain a good standard of fitness by participating in regular training and triathlon related activities led by experienced club triathletes.

-Mountain Bike Riding;
-24hr access to Clubrooms located on Hampton foreshore;
- Free group training sessions;
-Training buddies who can train hard and have fun;
-At-cost Bayside triathlon and cycle clothing;
-Access to Bayside Club Tent on race day;
-Access to organised race trips, social functions and training weekends;
-Reciprocal rights at interstate clubs;
